Article really points out how much a threat Free Trade Globalism has been to National Security.
I am not that old....but I can still remember when we executed for treason anyone who considered letting the enemy build our sensitive military and security-related equipment.
Sad is that we have buffoons who actually post on FR, and claim that all this Free Trade Globalism is “good”. Wonder if they will still feel the same after the Communist Chinese nuke their city, or, wipe it out in a biological attack.
Our National Security is tantamount to our survival. Supporting Free Trade Globalism is a threat to our security and soverignty.
You got it!
What some call “protectionism” I call self preservation. Where would we be if we had relied on German efficiency to produce planes to fight the Japanese in WWII?
I’m fine with global trade but what we have now is globally managed trade that is more about control than it is about money. Plenty of nations have found that they can hinder our war efforts by refusing to produce parts we need or simply jacking up the prices to unreasonable levels.
Some of this is our own fault due to unionism, taxation, and over regulation.
Watched the new release DVD film Restrepo this week. Awesome and highly informative movie about both the war and supplies that go to our troops stationed in Afghanistan. The weapons, the bullets - everything is made somewhere else while US workers suck up unemployment benefits and our nation is weakened by the globalist profiteers.

His actions occurred in Afghanistan's Korengal valley during the deployment chronicled in the movie 'Restrepo'. This fourteen-minute video tells his story.
