Most people think that they are just drug dealers.
No, the Zeta’s & other cartels have hired a bunch of
ex mexican military/ex-special forces.
I need to correct something I typed on this thread. I think I was wrong when I typed an officer was killed and another wounded in Texas, at my post #38. On thinking on this further, I believe the officer killed and officer wounded was with Mexican authorities, and on Mexican soil. I needed to clarify.
Thank you for this post. Your post gave me an opportunity to correct something which needed correcting (above) Though with the time being the time we now witness and the death of Agent Brian Terry, I cannot help but wonder did I make a mistake.
Zapata ping!
Thanks for the ping SwinneySwitch.
>>Parts of the border fence in Texas were delayed or blocked because of IWBC objections.<<
And the rest was delayed because _________.
>>The Mexicans wouldnt even let our LE people go over to their half of the lake search for his body and his Jetski. It has all been reported. I say their half because we actually paid for its construction.<<
But we allow their military choppers to fly in US airspace. Are we sick or what?
>>Why cant they do this to the cartels??? They know where their compounds are.<<
Very foolish question! Don’t you have any idea what would happen if the illegal drug trade to the US was brought to an immediate screeching halt?
The Zetas were trained by us. They took their weapons and training and turned them against the stated purpose. Unintended consequenses, and all that.
Obviously. And it's still darned odd they elected to ride on the Mexican side after living in Reynosa for two years. Maybe just a case of terribly poor judgement? Or desensitization of the risks?
Thanks for the pings Swinney
Anything to bring about The North American Union. Amazing and healthy Americans sit on their butts watching sports on TV!
Yeah, that’s comparable to being shot dead, and your wife threatened and chased by murderous thugs as well, isn’t it?
If you’re NEAR the border, it’s only sensible to carry the documentation that YOUR OWN government demands from everyone they think *MIGHT* be crossing or has crossed the line.
I admit I haven’t kept up with this story, so excuse me if I ask a simple question:
Why were they being targeted by gangs to be killed in the first place? If the gangs knew to kill her also, then someone had some pretty good information that she would be there and where they were to be found. If I missed this part of the story, please point me in the right direction.
“The Zetas were trained by us. They took their weapons and training and turned them against the stated purpose”
Yeah. We never learn, do we?

We have friends who live in Reynosa that tell of horrific battles in the streets on an almost daily basis.
I think we know a much better way to interdict. Learn the location of specific individuals and fire a missile from a drone. They never know what hit them.
It is precise, cheap and very effective
Somehow, someway, it's $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
I was talking about the technology available to determine when someone has crossed the boarder. I was not trying to make a comparison between how Mexican Drug Gangs and Canadian Fish & Game Officials react to boarder crossings.
All the proof in the world won’t convince the FR open border/MExico first crowd of this widow’s innocence.
Now we have another dead BP agent, courtesy of Mexico’s invasion. They won’t care about that either.
Yup. And they are being strangely silent about who they arrested.
