Terrorists are plotting deadly Christmas attacks in what could make for holiday travel chaos. Iraqi authorities have obtained confessions from captured insurgents who claim Al Qaeda is planning suicide attacks in the United States and Europe during the holiday season. Iraqi Interior Minister Jawad al-Bolani said that the botched bombing in central Stockholm last weekend was among the alleged plots the insurgents revealed.

Either all men have the natural right to freedom of conscience or none of us do. Either a government recognizes that right, or they do not; either way they do not “give” the right. A government that fails to recognize the natural rights of man is tyrannous and should be opposed.
For two years I lived knowing that every night one or two gooks could come in close and do enough damage that I’d never forget it. I never have.

Does that mean that our government should allow those natural rights to be extended to Al Qaeda? Then there is no need for law.
I do not want to bring up the subject of God, but you did. As I understand it, the rights God grants us are restricted by something we call ‘The Ten Commendments’. Even in God’s realm there is no such thing as a free for all as you suggest.
An American can believe any fool thing they want to, even so far as to be ideologically a Communist or Jihadist or an anti-American of any stripe. It is actions that are punishable, not beliefs.
What natural right of man do you feel is “restricted” by the Ten Commandments?
