Anyone remember space marine Vasquez from “Aliens”? That actress was Jenette Goldstein from Beverly Hills!

“Hey Vasquez. Have you ever been mistaken for a man?”

“No. Have YOU?”

I watched that movie again recently (Aliens), and was thinking, “Did the actress who played Vasquez ever get much work after that (Jenette Goldstein)? Because her CHARACTER has been in a dozen movies after that!” (most recently Avatar).

(One of my favorite lines from the Movie "Aliens")

She also played the foster-mom in “T2” and one of the murdered cops (the one in the exploding pool) in “Lethal Weapon 2”.

My first thought too.

She was also in "The Presidio" for about 30 seconds. She played the female MP that was shot and killed in the opening scenes.

The Aliens scriptwriter knew his social history. First time around, back in the fifties or thereabouts, it was squeaky lithping novelist Truman Capote to smoky-voiced stage actress Tallulah Bankhead: "Have you ever been mistaken for a man?"

Bankhead, without missing a beat: "No, have you?"
