Republicans will paralyze the Senate floor for 50 hours by forcing clerks to read every single paragraph of the 1,924-page, $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill.

They should continue the previous year’s budget with no increases, not even for inflation.
And then, in February, look for whole departments to de-fund.
They must not approve any new budget that has a deficit. To do so is to absolve Obama of any blame for his budgets. Presidents don’t have budget authority; congress does. If they don’t balance the budget they have just lost their moral and political high ground, for what? And Obama will be reelected.
