Well Perfect.

Is there a conservative politician that doesnt mind being called names and continues despite arrows, speaks to our beliefs? THat politician will never be “electable” because the MSM says so. So what do we do?

Not sure what these Republican don’t get.

Let tax rates go up - blame Dems
reduce them retroactively - take credit.

Pretty simple.

re: “Keep in mind that our Calvary doesn’t arrive until January”

I think you mean “cavalry” (horse soldiers charging in to the rescue), not “Calvary”. Calvary is the place where Jesus was crucified. I’ve made this same miss-spelling several times myself when typing in a hurry. I hope I don’t sound like a spelling “nazi” and I totally agree with what you are saying.

We had 4 feet of the stuff last February and we were still getting rid of it in April.

Slickness, though, is a problem in and of itself.

I have written to my representatives and pleaded with them not to pass this bill. Just say, NO! I am very disappointed in people, such as Thune. This goes double for the omnibus bill and DADT and START. The Tea Party needs to take names and kick ass.

“So what do we do?”

The beauty of the Tea Parties, the rallies, and the fiery townhall meetings was that it allowed the people to drown out the MSM; to take over the direction of discourse. And that’s why the media hated it so much. We need some way of putting this back front and center- now- and not in January.

(And we need somebody in Congress who is articulate to step up and seize the stage, and stop letting us get smacked around helplessly.)

Yes, on January 3, at Noon, the House Democrats meet their Calvary ~ because on January 4 the House Republicans, our cavalry, take over!

(They'll be using dull rusty nails ~ legislation is just that way ~ but the Democrats asked for it).

Agree. Who did it back then? To be honest, there isnt one in Congress that will step up and seige stage. They are afraid of being called mean. But outside government? Who?

A conservative could really make a name for his or herself for 2012 by coming out and defending the recent election results. The left should be taken to the woodshed over this unprecedented lame-duck session and yet all of our “leaders” are silent.

Well, except for DeMint who merely threatens to stick up for the right and then runs with his tail tucked between his legs.

Is there ANYONE who will come out and excoriate the libs for this??? Anyone?

True. If the DC road crews do not have the equipment, sand, salt and know how to deal with black ice then that can create a very rough driving situation.

Good news...Bad news:

Good News is that Virginia has state of the art snow removal equipment.

Bad News is that it is being operated by locals!

Quite a few blue dog Dems won’t be returning next year. Keep in mind that they would been more eager to help Republicans block or vote down certain bills before the election so as not to alienate voters. Now that they have nothing to lose except what they’ve already lost, they can show their true colors. Remember all those “pro-life” Dems who voted for Obamacare?

Yes, it’s as if the whole Nov 2nd thing has been wiped from the memory banks .... WTF are they DOING??!?!

But remember, we saw this in Jan to March... they lost in the Scott Brown race and they STILL went ahead with ObamaCare.

Same with the DREAM Act.

The liberals are “its now or never” and they are shovelling whatever they can out the door.

Interesting strategy but it only works if the GOP Senators actually stand up a filibuster and fight the rest of the Reid agenda NOW ... DADT, START, DREAM Act, etc.

We have to see the GOP stand up and fight.
