5 Farenheit is plenty cold enough to kill, especially in a country which isn't used to such temperatures. I don't find your sarcasm amusing. Quite a few Britons have already frozen to death in my home county already.

We have several people freeze to death in my State every single winter. Usually it's the bums or the terminally stupid. Fortunately there are preventative measures one can take to prevent death from exposure. They're called "coats", "hats", "gloves", and "boots".
It's not like it's never gotten cold in England before or something.
