Since you disagree could you answer this, does the repeal of DADT potentially STRENGTHEN the standing Army, if so why?

No. It's a distraction that will cause some issues in the short run. But in the long run the U.S. military will remain the professional organization that is currently is. Much to your dismay, I assume.

What i think will happen is the draft will HAVE to be re-instated at some point, strengthening the standing Army in the long term. Until then, in the short term, I envision massive amounts of frontline troops not reelisting.
