"Am I the only one who remembers all the threads a year ago when we were being assured that Scott Brown was a genuine "conservative"? In fact, I distinctly recall reading that he was downright "presidential."

You recall correctly. You know, usually I think that Mike Savage guy on the radio is kind of a kook, BUT, I've got to give him credit; He saw through Brown from the word go.

As I pointed out a year ago, we were told by Brown's opponent that he was a conservative, we were told by the media that he was a conservative and we were told by his supporters that he was a conservative (the only people who didn't label him a conservative were actual conservatives).

Then, despite being labeled a conservative, he won by five points in Massachusetts. What this means is that a REAL conservative could have won and if a real conservative can win in Massachusetts they can win ANYWHERE.

.
Nobody thought Brown was conservative. The point of supporting his election was that Brown was about as “conservative” as possible to get elected there, and it gave us an ‘R’ senator to help us get to the magic 50.

Isn’t it better to at least prevent one more ‘D’ being added?
