The question isn’t if it doesn’t go well, the question is will we know it?

Think the press will report on it?

That’s the problem that conservatives are too stupid to fix.

My thinking is that Obama and crew twisted arms of the military commanders and threatened them with defense cuts if they didn’t say they were in favor. So, they won’t say anything if the S hits the fan...

The current troops will be afraid of insubordination, etc...

So, any truth on the matter will have to come from folks who leave the military (unless current troops are able to leak info on things going astray).

I don’t think all hope is lost, but if things do get really bad, the new conservatives in Congress will have really have to press this issue.

The right thing to do would be for the three chiefs of staff who opposed this to resign in protest.

That would be an FU to Congress that needs to be said.

I would say...not yet. They need to stay in order to monitor what’s really going on. If they resign now they would just be replaced by administration cronies who would bury their heads in the sand to everything.

They won’t report it when the homos do wrong. But they will be too glad to report when so-called “bullying” goes on. It’ll be just like when women were admitted to military academies. Cries of “rape” and sexual harrassment were being reported right and left.

The government will cover the failure up just as they have covered up the failure of placing females on ships with thousands of sex starved young bucks.

No. The Republicans own it. They are the ones who passed it. Democrats are a given. The Republicans could have stopped it. They preferred not to. They, in fact, voted for it.

Easy. Just listen to Rangel on the issue. The left wants a draft so that they can go to young people at the time of a conflict and say “Hey, if we go to war you are going.” and then all these dope smoking college kids will rally around the left and we will be immobilized.

Our voluntary military is the finest on earth because we have people voluntarily sign up to defend our country. They genuinely care. Watering down fighting units with peaceniks and unpatriotic youth will destroy our military.

The Left in every country in every time fears the military and takes what steps are available to it to neutralize the military. The Left then tries to replace the military with organizations that have no traditional structure and are not loyal to the nation but rather to the Left faction and to its leaders. The traditional military cannot be trusted to perform whatever internal national suppression is deemed necessary and the Left always has a fear(irrational in the US but not elsewhere) that the traditional military will not abide them and will turn on them.

It was passed with and because of GOP votes. The GOP owns this.

These clowns are always more concerned with who gets blamed for the mistakes rather than ensuring the right things get done.
