“Well, ya see Cathy if this had been a citizen that shot this dog, the citizens name would be all over the papers and Internet....

People are getting really angry about law enforcement playing military and treating the rest of us like escaped enemy...

Know what I mean Cathy?”

So What? Now you are justifying actions against average citizens from crazies? I condemn it all around.

Honestly, you are backing up someone advocating the harrassment of a LEO’s family. If that is the way you live your life, I am sorry for you.

I didn't say I was backing them....

I said, "People are getting really angry about law enforcement playing military and treating the rest of us like some escaped enemy."

BTW, mailmen go door to door for a living...

How do they possibly survive without a gun and shooting dogs on a daily basis?

These 'people', and I use that term very very loosely, in the "Law Enforcement Community" need to realize that their actions, such as shooting family pets when they're in their own yards and electronically controlled, are going to have consequences far beyond a scrap of paper in their files.

These aren't 'average citizens'. They're Agents of the State carrying deadly weapons issued by the State. They have powers of arrest that you and I don't. They're protected by legal indemnities that you and I don't enjoy.

They can shoot a family member down on their own property and then yammer on about 'fearing for their lives'. Well it's about time some of these idiots started really fearing for their lives.

Nobody is a bigger supporter of good cops than I am. But morons with guns like this one need to pay a heavy, heavy price from the citizenry they're sworn to protect when they screw up and kill a loved one.

What's sick is people defending actions like this.

Well, this moron did devastate another family, so I see some justice in that,

Maybe if this cop’s kids get some peer-pressure in the schoolyard then their brainless daddy will have to take job as a furniture salesman where he won’t be out using family dogsfor tarfet practice.

Sorry, no sympathy for the spawn of this idiot or the woman stupid enough to marry him and perpetuate his deficient gene pool. I only have sympathy for the family member who had their best friend killed by this lamebrain.
