Was it scheduled for a Vote prior to the Elections? Were there Candidates “Running” on your hot button issue? Did they win? I didn’t hear any. But I live in Normalville and I guess we are no longer mainstream. We must get different news than you UnNormal folks.
Amnesia ain’t what it used to be ... These days it only concerns itself with Birth Certificates, Class Records, Job Histories and Social Security numbers. So I guess I ain’t got it.

It seems I'm the only person on Free Republic who isn't somehow surprised that a Democrat majority congress managed to pass a repeal on DADT. Practically everyone else here is acting shellshocked as though they were blindsided by something they never in a million years saw coming.
