At Chanukkah, many, perhaps most, synagogues, at least the Ashkenazic ones, have the custom of saying psalm 30, “Mizmor shir chanukkat habayit” after davenning. It was composed by King David in honor of his son Shlomo (Solomon) commemorating the construction of the Temple. Why would you continue to pretend you know know what you are talking about? At my synagogue, and most I visit, we recite Psalm 30 EVERY Shabbat as an introduction to P'sukei D'zimrah. Go look it up in any standard Ashkenaz sidur. The additions for Chanukkah are Al Hanissim (for the miracles) and Hallel. There is no separate service for Chanukkah. It may be all you know, but really it's a small thing on the Jewish calendar.

Psalm 30 is repeated at the end of Shacharis (or Mussaf on Shabbos or Rosh Chodesh) at Chanukkah.
