t's an interesting dynamic, isn't it? Even in colonial times, according to often quoted young pastor's letters, many girls were pregnant at the time of their weddings. That was the Christian way of maintaining "honor"-- marry.

I still miss your point. Could you clarify? Reads like child rape. Depending on your point of view it's also blaspheme. Post to this garbage and leaving.

That the family retains its honor there by killing the girl, I guess, or maybe her lover. Here, in Christian custom, the honorable response was for the couple to marry. Of course, for our post-Christian elites, the honorable response is to abort.
