The article says the dog was not on a leash. but does not say if it was inside or out of its yard.
Seems clear to me.
The -original- “unmodified” article -clearly- stated it was wearing an underground fence collar, was still firmly on its on property and never stepped off said property.

the article kept “changing” to project “less guilt” on the part of the cop.
Some speculate that the source was monitoring FR and “changing” actual details to cast doubt upon the improper actions of the cop.

I read yesterday that they had an invisible fence and the dog was inside that fence. It was the officer that trespassed.
Yesterday the article said the dog WAS on it’s owner’s property. I read it and it was very clear about that point.
