For Presidential elections, no.

But Congressional districts are district-by-district, not a whole state. Districting is everything.

I really hope NOT. But I don’t know the answer to this question for the longer term.

It looks right for now, but we have to take into account some factors that we must control. Among them :

* Illegals crossing the border

* Population growth among certain segments of the population

* INWARD migration from economically challenged states ( e.g. California ) INTO Texas.

If liberals from states like California move to Texas, you can be sure that Texas will be INFECTED with the liberal disease just as New Hampshire ( the “Live Free or Die” state) has been with a significant influx of liberals from Massachusetts.

It’s RINO Red right now. They run lousy Democrats for higher office. But it isn’t as conservatively stacked as it could be, especially with the way Texas’ vote/poll.
