Liberal online political magazine Salon.com published a letter to the editor Friday that called for the murder of 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
The letter was written in response to a mocking article at Salon titled, Good Morning Americas painfully friendly interview with Sarah Palin by Alex Pareene.
Pareene snarkily sums up the GMA interview:
The interview was basically split into a couple of distinct sections: How awesome is your family, how bad is Barack Obama, how awful are people who criticize you, and how awesome is America?
The first letter published in response to the article calls for Palin to be electrocuted by a cattle prod by convicted dog abuser Michael Vick: Vick gets a pet to torture and we get rid of Palin. A win-win for everyone!
Michael Vick, the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, is a convicted felon who spent time in prison for dog fighting and animal cruelty.

What has she done to deserve torture and death?
She has scared the sh*t out of liberals—that’s what she’s done.
Or to be compared to an animal?
I have yet to hear a SINGLE coherent justification for libtards’ vitriol against Sarah Palin. Fervent emotion without a shred of logic.
Tells me she’s 100% right.
Not get an abortion?/sarcasm
This guy really needs to get a visit from some nice FBI agents. He is seriously disturbed and needs to be watched carefully.
There is no justification for a sadistic fantasy like this.
If they think GMA asked Palin softball questions, they must have been following the MSM playbook for the questions they asked Zero for several years.
Where will holder come down on this?
anti dhimini talk...
Just based on the description on this thread, it was sarcasm. We conservatives really need to have thicker skins and not take this stuff so literally. Best thing to do is ignore the nonsense and focus on the substantive issues.
She is prominent and on the "wrong side."
Range War
Cowboys and Sheep Herders
I'll give you one. She is a prominent Republican who stands a better than even shot at getting the GOP nomination for president in 2012.
She is by no means the first, nor will she be the last Republican to draw mindless hatred from the fringe Left. Best thing is to keep it all in perspective and don't overreact.
She is prominent. She is not one of theirs. She might win. The left has NO ground of morality therefore anything that promotes their cause and tends to bring them power is Right and Good. They do not distinguish between ballot box and bullets other than as to effectiveness.
> Where will holder come down on this?
He won’t.
Whitey is not his lookout.
That the Salon website would be so foolish as to publish a letter from some loon that describes the torture and murder of Sarah Palin (for what? Being a conservative?) is a bit unnerving. Even though we all know that when it comes to Sarah Palin, the blind hatred is always there (on the left), seeing some weirdo write it out and having it published is disturbing. Of course, the letter will be dismissed by the left as 'satire' and soon we'll hear "can't you conservatives take a joke?", the trusty liberal fall-back when some leftist loon goes a bit too far with a public statement, such as the 'kill Palin' letter published in Salon. I just hope that the average American sees this and realizes - even if they're not fans of Sarah Palin - that the left are nasty, totalitarian ideologues that sneer at the American concept of 'personal freedom' and basically hate America, especially the 'bourgeoisie'. In short: wake up, America!
To a leftist there is all the justification in the world. They do not distinguish among actions and methods beyond effectiveness for getting them power. They have no God---no- they believe humanity is God and they are God's brain therefore they can and should do whatever it takes to impose what they see as the good solution which is their total power.
Does it really surprise anyone that the left says crap like this?
Quite frankly, I believe that the next civil war in this country is going to start in 2012.
