A North Carolina TV station was forced to halt its evening newscast when a woman with a gun stormed into the station, sparking a standoff with police forcing employees to evacuate.

The worst news station in Charlotte. Crew people as of a few years ago were treated below dirt status compared to the other news stations who did dirt or slightly above.

distraught person. one report of one shot fired, another report (on scene) of weapon not loaded. no hostages were taken. suspect was confined to area where she was unable to come inside station, possibly lobby area, due to receptionist not unlocking door. no report of receptionist being taken hostage.
