I agree that these terms like "gay" "gay community" or even "homosexuals". . .are fundamentally dishonest and deceiving. When we use these terms we, unwittingly, grant separate identity and lend support to the notion that this is a human rights issue. Not so! Our rights are granted to all by God owing to the fact of our common humanity.

Homosexual behavior is a dysfunctional, unnatural behavior and nothing more. It is not a valid basis for "rights." People who engage in homosexual behavior have exactly the same rights as do I. They are free to marry (the opposite sex). . .free to get employment. . .free to join the military. Society should also be free to assess what is behavior that is not in the interest of society and restrict that behavior. We have been hoodwinked into condoning a behavior that is not in the interest of society. Very bad trends to ensue, as a result.

Because of political correctness, and the changes we’ve seen in society, we’re not allowed to make any judgements about any type of behavior.

Whether it’s marriage or policies such as don’t ask/don’t tell, we’re not allowed to ask whether “gay friendly” policies are good for society. The liberals have successfully framed the debate as one of civil rights and discrimination.

I’ve heard very few people say that homosexual marriage is good for society. But I’ve heard many say that it’s discriminatory not to allow homosexual marriage. To them, and to those who buy into that reasoning, they don’t even think about whether it’s good for society. The fact that it’s “discriminatory” is all that matters to them.
