Obama hails bipartisanship after arms pact passes

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama celebrated a bipartisan "season of progress" on Wednesday at a year-end news conference marking an up-and-down second year in office that blended a thrashing at the polls, slow progress on the economy and late victories in Congress.

He forecast struggles over spending in 2011 with Republicans who take control the House, and vowed to try again and pass sweeping immigration legislation that was blocked by GOP critics. "If I believe in something strongly I stay on it," he said.

Obama opened the news conference with a reference to the nuclear arms control treaty with Russia that the Senate ratified earlier in the day on a bipartisan vote. In addition to cutting nuclear weapons and launchers, he said the pact will allow U.S. inspectors to "be back on the ground" in Russia.

Perhaps, but he’s doing a lot of damage in the interim.

The inspection regime is going to be weak and only focus on inmobile ICBM’s in Russia. Topel’s and RS-27’s as well as Bulava missiles are exempt. So are tactical nukes and IRBM’s.

“We have two years to clean up the mess he and his fellow RATS/RINOS made.”

How? We do have the House but he still has the veto pen and the Senate. And those numerous Socialist RINO bastards in the Senate are still there.

Why not?

He has a dozen GOP Senators that rolled over for him on DADT and START.

Ah, I like that. So much bad news, I temporally lost all hope. Yes, of course, we must keep fighting. Bring in the investigators. Challenge everything. Oh, BTW, did you know that scumbag Obama and his fat @ss wife are going on another expensive vacation on our dime?

Anything that makes the commie happy makes me unhappy. Too many RINOs caved, and they will pay the price come election time. We MUST remember who voted for START, DADT, and any other leftist legislation. Those people need to be run out of Washington, and I’m including my own two Senators.

The wins in 2010 and the Tea Party movement are too late....all the damage that's been done in this Congress will never be un-done by the next, or any "Congress" in the future. We essentially have a one-Party system in place, driven by big donors who control the Agenda.

Face it; de-funding will not happen to right the course.

A Third Party will not be viable as a means to un-do the damage, as it would take decades and America, as we knew it, is dead.

Sorry; that's the way it is.

I won't be around long enough for a second Revolution, but it will come.
