WTF? CIA sets up WikiLeaks Task Force
The Telegraph ^ | 12/22/2010

CIA has set up a task force to be known by the acronym WTF to assess what damage has been done by the mass release of thousands of diplomatic cables by WikiLeaks.

The WikiLeaks Task Force will "examine whether the latest release of WikiLeaks documents might affect the agency's foreign relationships or operations," CIA spokesman George Little said.

Manning was arrested in May and then charged with 'transferring classified data'

Few of the thousands of confidential documents leaked by WikiLeaks were from the CIA, but many were secret communications by high ranking diplomats discussing sensitive questions of world and US affairs.

The task force, headed by the CIA's Counterintelligence Center, is to make an inventory of the leaked cables and will report on the impact of the leaks, particularly regarding the ability to recruit of informants, a source who asked not to be named said.

Some of the leaked documents originated on the protected SIPRNET, or Secret internet Protocol Router Network, which is used to share classified information between different government branches.

The embarrassing saga could lead to a tightening of the rules for sharing, the source said. "The recent WikiLeaks episode points to the serious need for our government to look closely at whether it might be time for need-to-know to make a comeback. . . ."

I suggest that the CIA set up a new task force on how to get their head out of their ass. Since the CIA provides our diplomats with a lot of their field intelligence, it is quite obvious that the Wikileak documents have hurt our intelligence operations and operators.

We’ll call this “Task Force Get Our Heads Out of Our Ass”.

The Wikileaks fiasco is Obama’s greatest counterintelligence failure and borders on treason, besides the START Treaty (aka “Disarm America and Let the Red Chinese Rule the World Treaty”)

Yeah, I forgot his name already but he sure gave Diane Sawyer and the MSM a jolt with that one, lol.

They seem to have Czars and Task Forces for everything. The sheer mass of government employees is an army in it’self.

"Wikileaks fiasco is Obama’s greatest counterintelligence failure and borders on treason"

The Obammunist had to hurry up and make homosexuals legal in the military.

Now this guy will claim his civil rights are being violated?

We are so effective that Manning has gained fame as an Assange anointed political prisoner whose status is being investigated by the UN. This while actual political prisoners rot unnoticed in jails in China, Cuba, Burma, Russia, and so on. Our oh so effective CIA makes funny acronyms. Way to go guys!!

Her shock is what I meant about giving her and the MSM a jolt. They are finding out The Won has imperfections in his administration.

“How can that beeeee??” Lol

"She was shocked bigtime!"

Eh, eh. She thought she was throwing the tool a softball. Of course, she had no follow up.

But the administration is slick, they always send a backup with their toadies, who handled this situation.

The administration's follow up communications will not diffuse the SNAFU with talk radio. (Or the new Republican House Intelligence Committee?)

Task Force?

Submit this poster boy PFC and Julian to a firing squad and the incentive to leak goes way down.

@ $20 / firing squad X 2 squads, I just saved the tax payers a bunch of money!
