If a homosexual can enlist and die for his Country, how can you deny him/her marriage to his/her soulmate.
.....how can you deny the right to adopt a baby
.....how can you deny anything else on the Homosexual bucket list of must have’s.
Homosexuals have fought in wars since the beginning of time, but they were seen as soldiers like the people beside them

Actually, we don’t know that for sure yet. I don’t think the whole story is out.
On one level, as other posters have stated, the homosexual personality which is overly self-centered and geared towards personal gratification and impulsive action, is just one facet. This could have happened with a straight person, but...it is less likely.
DADT was effective, it did exactly what it was supposed to do. Even when I was in back in the Seventies before DADT, there was no such thing as anyone who even let on they were homosexual, even though everyone knows there were or must have been.
If two guys were caught slurping on each other on active duty, they would have been gone in a heartbeat, no questions asked. I don’t believe they would have even been kept around for Captain’s Mast. There wasn’t even an undercurrent of homosexuality.
Even the suspicion was damaging to morale, never mind anything more.
