WASHINGTON (AFP) – US President Barack Obama's administration said Thursday it will regulate greenhouse gas emissions from power plants, after legislation on climate change died in Congress.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said it would regulate fossil fuel power plants and petroleum refineries -- which together emit nearly 40 percent of US greenhouse gases -- starting in 2012.

When congress defunds the, BATFE, EPA,DOE and Education Dept and shows us a certified long form BC of the _resident, “we” will send in the 1040’s till then come and get them.
20-40M Americans in DC armed and willing to community organize and boycott, in this case, the IRS, should get their attention....
Yes but water vapor and clouds make up 90% of the global warming gases, an order of magnitude more than CO2 !

Our only solution is to plastic wrap all land masses, bodies of water, plants & animals to prevent the release of the most deadly of all green house gasses: di-hydrogen monoxide !

SOME paper plants are co-gen....they generate energy while making paper (my husband works in wood products industry)...they have also got to great lengths over the past 20 years to clean up what comes out of those plants....but, idiot environmentalists wouldn’t know/believe that.
I agree. I sincerely doubt the new Congress will do anything other than tweak things at the margins. I have no hope there will ever be radical changes that bring us back towards Liberty. The long march to tyranny will continue.
I fear our new Tea Party Representatives will somehow be co opted by the Republican leadership. It is difficult to see how things change in a fundamental way.
Time for new congress to regulate the EPA straight out of business. Starve the beast! Defund defang and defrock the corrupt socialists bastards!!
More to the point, how old is the image? I seriously doubt that any plant today is emitting in this way. sd
We shall see what Boehner proposes but keep in mind how hard it is to destroy a cabinet level agency.. and you have a mushy Senate to boot.
Voters and taxpayers ought not to forget what 4 years of Dem legislation have wrought as they sought to destroy the nation’s economy in the name of Change. Treachery by the majority leaders like the last 2 years hasn’t been seen for a long time would be my guest.
November 2012 and January 2013 can’t get here soon enough.

The Tennessee Constitution goes a bit farther and declares the people have the right to change it in ANY manner they see fit.
My instincts tell me that Boehner will greatly disappoint us. He has been in D.C. too long. He is too comfortable to push fundamental change. Let's hope the Tea Party members of Congress can make a strong push for Liberty.
