If the excerpt is well written and catches your attention enough to click on the thread, why is it such a burden to you to go to the site and read the rest? Examiner.com is well put together and has a LOT of great writers who are of a strong conservative bent AND get paid based on the number of hits to their articles. No, they are NOT JUST bloggers, but serious members of the new media and are deserving of our support. If you can’t support someone just with a simple click to the examiner.com site and want him or her to write everything for free, just to meet YOUR standards of purity, you are pitiful excuses for human beings and probably liberals in disguise.
We're not here to provide you a revenue stream. We're here to provide FR an information stream.
If you are linking to your own work through excerpts on FR you are advertising on our volunteer supported, advertising-free site without paying for it. Since we do not accept advertising fees from anyone you are a mere blog pimp.
We are more interested in people posting full articles that they find and excerpting only those that force us to excerpt. We don't much respect most of those that force us to excerpt.
If you force FReepers to excerpt your blog just so you can get hits rather than share your work with the FR community then you are really not much of a conservative community member after all. You are merely advertising on an advertising-free website which classifies you as a blog pimp. Blog pimping is not allowed.
