I like this analysis. It fits my own observations. Many anti-freedom types simply cannot imagine other people having freedom, because they know that they cannot handle freedom and responsibility well.

This article also mirrors the sentiments I've observed.
Many anti-gun people seen in my experience will say things like, "...There are days I get so frustrated I would shoot someone if I had a gun..." and I'm glad they choose to NOT possess a firearm.
They each apparently have a short fuse. They wrongly assume others behave like them when inconvenienced.
Their imaginary world of gunfights occuring over fender-benders or receiving incorrect change at the KwikiMart have never materialized in reality.
