But it begs the question: How many Republicans from the same family could get automatically elected for 3 generations with a father/grandfather/great grandfather who was a pro Nazi and made his fortune running illegal liquor?

My idea is ... it is simply name recognition. Many are the voters that vote for a well known name.
Its the ole ...vote the devil you know is better than voting for the one you don't know ... so don't change.

Or simply vote Democrat no matter who the candidate is running for election. Look at the ‘Daily’ machine in Chicago.

This is one of the reasons there are so many Adam's, Roosevelt's, Rockefeller’s, Kennedy's, Bush's, Maybe Clinton’s, Al Gore's Dad was a politician,(governor or some such).
