A swine flu pandemic is sweeping through Britain despite the fact that 70 percent of Britain's over-65 population was vaccinated against swine flu last year. This year, that number is nearly the same -- 68.5% -- but flu vaccine proponents insist that until everyone is vaccinated, the flu will continue to infect people.
What these vaccine advocates absolutely will not admit, however, is how many of those who are sick with the flu this year also got vaccinated last year. This little detail is left out of every mainstream media report on vaccines and the flu. They simply refuse to mention this all-important number, leaving readers to leap to the incorrect conclusion that only those who were not vaccinated get sick with the flu.

Maybe I missed it but I haven’t seen the scare tactics used this year to get everyone vacinnated. Maybe so much sheeple are getting vaccinated that they don’t have to.

The simple fact is that the "flu jab" does not prevent you catching the flu. It never has been claimed to either. It offers SOME protection - you makes you less likely to come down with flu, and if you do, it makes the infection less severe. So its still a good thing, but it is in no way the panacea that HM government scientific advisors are pushing.

There has been a public service announcement on our local stations and even in Walmart with “Big Sis” asking everyone to get a flu shot this year.
Back in the mid 90s I got the flu vaccine because I was told it was mandatory. That fall I was wiped flat out with the worst flu I’ve ever had. Those sick days ended up being the only real ones I’ve taken in 15 years (took some time off with a badly cut hand and a ruptured tendon in my leg). I’ve never had another flu shot and never will. The latest gimmick is you have to sign a sheet if you refuse and then you won’t be paid for any sick time as a result of the flu.
Perhaps you are not considering the fact that very few go out in the sun these days without sun block. Also as people age the skin’s ability to make Vitamin D decreases and it takes longer exposure to make adequate amounts.
