No, it's the truth and I know it first hand. I was very sympathetic to the Serb cause when I first joined FR but anti-American pro-Russian Serbs at FR made me change my mind. They turned my sympathy into ambivalence.

"No, it's the truth and I know it first hand. I was very sympathetic to the Serb cause when I first joined FR but anti-American pro-Russian Serbs at FR made me change my mind. They turned my sympathy into ambivalence."

The 1999 NATO Bombing of Yugoslavia and our Kosovo policy were likely the most anti-American actions that a US Administration ever produced -- bypassing Congress to use a multi-national force to attack a sovereign country that neither attacked us nor was a threat to us, in order to plant a NATO Base on stolen land, defied the US Constitution and spit on everything the US stood for. There was a reason that a group of Senators and Congressmen sued Clinton for that Bombing, on exactly those grounds. The globalists and statists who have been running our country ARE anti-American, Joe. And you don't have to be "Serb sympathetic" to see that. You only have to love the US Constitution and what it stands for . Supporting these globalist anti-Americans doesn't make you "more pro-American than me", Joe, it makes you anti-American too, no matter how much you try to wrap yourself in the American flag and try and declare me some sort of "outsider"!

As for the Russian government at the time, they sold out Serbia too -- not as far as recognizing an independent Kosovo, but in allowing a such an entity to be created. As such, there is no "love for the Russian government" -- it wasn't the first time that the Russian government sold out the Serbs and it likely won't be the last. The Russian government has used Kosovo as a bargaining chip and a thorn in America's side, because they were handed that weapon -- by us.

On the other hand, I don't have the xenophobia nor blind hatred of the Russian people that you do. And the Russian people and media have brought to light the real situation on the ground in Kosovo -- the organ harvesting, the drug-running, the sex slaving of the Muslim Kosovo Albanians. It's truly sad when Russian news-outlets have become more reliable than (the Saudi and globalist owned) American news agencies on this issue -- but it's true. Do I understand why some Serbs are "pro-Russian" on that count? Hell, yes! Because the Russians (& some Czechs) have been the only ones telling the truth on this issue! Our sinister and depraved policies on Kosovo (through 3 Administrations) have created this situation. And if full knowledge and the cover-up on these organ harvesting and drug running examples don't tell you that, then nothing will.

There are three pillars on which each and every country on the planet rests -- defensible and defended borders, a common language and a common set of values which are usually based on a common religion. We've done everything to do destroy those pillars in Serbia which many people in the West have cheerleaded. But those people don't seem to notice that what we have done to Serbia is also now being done to us -- by the same anti-American globalists who stole Kosovo from Serbia. Those globalists may not give a damn about the Christian Serbs -- and that's OK with a lot of Americans -- but neither do they give a damn about us. We are just as much an ant on an elephants behind as the Kosovo Serbs are to them.

I'm a Christian and an American, Joe. But if I am ever forced to choose between those two things, I am a Christian first. I believe in the 10 Commandments and "doing unto others as I would have them do unto me" because I believe in Christ. But even if I weren't a Christian, I think that this particular Commandment is axiomatic. What we as a country are doing unto others is now being done to us -- by the same people -- the same globalists who are trying to destroy the borders, economy and Christian culture of Serbia are now doing the same to us. No surprise to me, not then and not now.

One doesn't have to be "Serb-sympathetic' to recognize Right and Wrong, Good and Evil, Depravity and Morality. It simply requires a moral compass that works wherever you are -- and a person either has one of those or they don't. I don't see where "being an American" allows us to throw that moral compass out because we don't like what we discover from it. That is not what "American Exceptionalism" means or should ever mean, because "God is no respecter of persons" -- or of countries. Being an American does not give us "a free pass" to ignore His Rules -- and if we do, it is at our own peril!
