I saw an extensive piece on Fox describing the laws in various cities. You are required by law to shovel snow from sidewalks and can be fined if you do not. One palce had fines of $1,500.
The North east can just go to hell. It is just a drag on America
I believe here in NJ you must have a clear/safe walkway within 24 hours after the snow stops falling. I’m not sure this is unreasonable (and I do the shoveling).
