No mud where I live, white sand. No Gators either, not here but I've lived where they were in FL. Seen them, caught baby ones while fishing, they are pretty much afraid of people. Now mosquitoes, sometimes, in the summer after heavy rains for several days. Wear Avon Skin So soft, they leave you alone. Almost never have flies, ants, spiders, do see an occasional Scorpion outside in the summer.
