Many U.S. companies are hiring ... overseas (Rats, RINOs and Unions successfully destroying U.S.)

Corporate profits are up. Stock prices are up. So why isn't anyone hiring?

Actually, many American companies are — just maybe not in your town. They're hiring overseas, where sales are surging and the pipeline of orders is fat.

More than half of the 15,000 people that Caterpillar Inc. has hired this year were outside the U.S. UPS is also hiring at a faster clip overseas. For both companies, sales in international markets are growing at least twice as fast as domestically.

The trend helps explain why unemployment remains high in the United States, edging up to 9.8 percent last month, even though companies are performing well: All but 4 percent of the top 500 U.S. corporations reported profits this year, and the stock market is close to its highest point since the 2008 financial meltdown.

Well, just who do you think UPS is going to hire to deliver packages in India and China?

Too bad approx. 50% of the population is too dumb to figure out this is a direct result of putting the Rats in charge in 2006 and Obama in 2008. Too bad atleast 50% of the population is too dumb to figure out the liberalism/socialism/progressivism/leftism is a huge failure every time and everywhere it is tried.

And now many of the products being made overseas aren't coming back to the United States. Demand has grown dramatically this year in emerging markets like India, China and Brazil.

So.. with at least a billion dirt-poor citizens between China and India the respective governments are going to let U.S. corporations waltz around in their domestic markets and walk away with billions in profits?

So its cheaper to build it there and ship it here than it is to build it here and ship it there......because the labor is smarter there.
Stupid Americans...... we’ll believe anything if it has the right heading.

Who the hell is surprised by this?

I good portion of new hires at our company really don’t want to work. They can’t seem to show up on time or follow instructions when on the job. We keep the good ones.

Add to that the cost of FICA, unemployment, payroll taxes of all kinds, threat of liability and Obamacare - and we would prefer not to hire anyone ever again. I’d rather just try and make our existing team more efficient....

They operate domestic subsidiaries in many of these markets. The fear is that the mother ships begin to leave for Caribbean and Swiss homelands and operate a global network of local subsidiaries. Then... the American peasants will have few choices...like move to China to find work. Take up farming or become a crook (or government worker/politician - if there be a difference).

That's all way to complicated for folks. Far better to blame the evil Corporations for wantonly outsourcing all those jobs when it's really the monsters in our own Government who are responsible.

Don't believe me? Just scroll up the thread.

And too bad that 95% of the lame stream media is corrupt and helps keep the populace dumbed down through its steady barrage of left wing propaganda and relentless attacks on conservatives.

Ha! Ours are very focused on "lifestyle" where they really don't have to do anything too complex, they get to enjoy the corporate funded "lifestyle of the rich and famous" while enjoying maximum individual fulfillment (at 2 years out of college, yet!). In short... they are looking for the lifestyle portrayed on TV and in the movies.

Since most high ranking elected officials either are on a board of directors before, after, or before and after their terms. I blame both.

Toss in women who want the companies to fund their maternity leave with job security, you have more than enough reasons to move overseas.

Well, the corporations are getting smart about the hostility towards them in the US and are leaving for better, friendlier shores. Entertainers exploit the US for money and then only come here for hospital treatment.

A quick look on IBM’s job site just showed 7,577 openings. Of those 2,427 (1 out of 3) were in the USA, the rest (2 out of 3) were in other countries.

I used to teach Multinational Corporate Management. One of the reasons companies set up manufacturing subsidiaries overseas is to get inside the trade barriers set up by the countries they enter. They are selling to the local market, and want to avoid tariffs, quotas, and other trade restrictions. Of course they're going to hire overseas. That's where the markets are. They'd hire here if they could count on a market here.
