It’s not unusual to see County Sheriffs and local police out in force on weekends in working class/poor areas of Central Florida, including paddy wagons, mobile command stations and SWAT uniformed officers touting beanbag semi auto shotguns in the concessions lines. (Seriously, I stood behind a fat cop in a full SWAT uniform waiting in line to buy popcorn on duty, was completely surreal evening in Osceola County, Florida)
Coming from NJ/NY where the only time this level of police presence is is seen is during terrorism watches or large political protests, I was stunned seeing dudes walking around with 30 sets of ziptie handcuffs on their belts the first time I went to a Saturday evening movie.
Then come Monday morning, it returns to a sleepy shopping center patronized by retirees and housewives.
Blacks have a pack mentality and are getting worse.
The young juvies will no doubt get off lightly.

When I do, I go armed, for reasons that this story doesn't mention, but makes quite apparent.
This area is not far from where another serviceman was killed a year or so ago; can't recall the exact details.

What do you expect from the kinid of people who would go see a Babs Streisand movie.
I think the Marine and his date should sue Ms. Babs for starring in a movie which induced violence in American “youths” resulting in personal injury.
If I were an attorney I’d LOVE to take a case like that, but then I’m just a zealous conservative idealist.
Reason # 32 as to why I don’t go the movies.
I’ve stopped going to the movies almost entirely. But people I know who still go to movies, amusement parks, etc. always say never to respond to a group of blacks who are being noisy, cutting in line, or being otherwise obnoxious. It’s a lose/lose situation; you’ll be beaten or accused of racism and/or they’ll be waiting for you at the exit. Just go to the manager, ask for your money back and leave. It’s really a shame, but this is the world we live in now.
Oh yeah one other thing. If he hadn’t gone to see “Little Fockers” and had gone to see “The King’s Speech” instead he probably would have missed out on being assaulted and would have seen an absolutely stunning movie. After having seen it Sunday it’s on my top ten list for sure, maybe my top five, and I’m sure it has a different market than “Little Fockers”.

If these were white thugs attacking this Marine and his girlfriend, this would have been national news for days. The media is derelict in their civic responsibilities for not well-disseminating stories like this and fostering a national dialog.

On concealed carry - sometimes it is not self-protection but the ability to protect your wife or children that requires a gun on your person.
The punk who sucker-punched the wife - now there is a courageous young man. I’m sure the Marine would like to return the favor.
I won’t even get into the racial aspect since, whenever the media does not report the perps race it is almost a certainty they are Amish or rogue Swedes.
