Obama: No shirtless pictures By Ian Swanson - 12/28/10 04:34 PM ET
The White House is taking extra steps to prevent photos of a shirtless President Obama on vacation in Hawaii.
The president and his family are on a snorkeling trip in Haunama Bay State Park, and traveling press are under “explicit instructions that there will be no long lenses or other sneaky attempts to take pictures,” according to a pool report.
Photos of a shirtless president on a Hawaii vacation after his win in the 2008 presidential election caused a stir two Christmases ago. Washingtonian magazine even ran a photo of the president for a cover story on why it’s good to live in D.C. “Our new neighbor is hot,” the magazine declared.
But pictures aren’t likely to come out of Tuesday’s trip to the beach. “All you folks who wanted shirtless pictures of the president: Forget it,” writes The New York Times’s Sheryl Stolberg in her pool report.
Obama is with first lady Michelle Obama and daughters Malia and Sasha along with unidentified friends and their children. The pool report states that the Obama party will be at the park for two hours.
The park is closed on Tuesdays to allow fish and coral reef time to recuperate, the pool report states, but apparently has been opened for the president’s small party.
Putin is wrong about quite a bit. He’s an authoritarian. He’s ex-KGB — wrong side, but he can handle himself. He’s a legit badass.
Bush could stand toe-to-toe with Putin and not look pathetic. Putin makes Obama look girly, but, then again, so does Mrs. Obama.

Perhaps Obama uses Retin-A on his face and neck-- ostensibly to smooth face wrinkles cosmetically, but in actuality, to make him look more "black" as long as he has a shirt and pants on. Even if he does not use Retin-A or some other means of deliberate darkening of his skin I can easily agree with the notion that photogs are banned from revealing his true whitey-white-whitey-ness, because in photos, from the neck down, Obama looks like a WHITE GUY with his shirt off.
Consider the possibility... Obama: WHITE GUY "passing." That would make Obama, let's see, yes... the first white-guy-passing-as-black president!
Or perhaps, given all the attention he puts into controlling his appearance, the first gay-white-guy-passing-as-black president!!
Maybe it is time for the first conceited-narcissistic-affirmative-action-racist-dual-national-foreign-born-socialist-bastard-gay-white-guy-passing-as-black president to come out of the closet!!!
40 years ago, I doubt anyone in the USA would have given this silly collectivist freak man child the time of day, much less elect him president. But since then, we have come a long way, baby. Every day with Obama as president breathes new life into the notion that we must be on the verge of living in interesting times...
And by "interesting" I mean really interesting in the original sense of the phrase... fasten-your-seatbelts-six-sigma interesting...
BTW If we did not live in such interesting times, I wonder what really-black black guy would be caught dead reading Pickles while at the office?
