I think this is a cruel attack on a lovely woman who truly loved and was betrayed. I see no revenge in anything. This thread should be removed. It is cruel to HER.
How does a wife do this in a will with joint assets while still married?
Something does not add up.
A woman’s wrath is second only to God’s. What a horrible mess he made. She is in peace now and will wait for him with Jesus by her side.
“Anger and bitterness are dangerous and destructive emotions.”
Some way, some how, JE will pay for his despicable cheating. Not being angry and full of revenge is hard. “I will never stoop so low as to allow another man to make me hate him” Good advice, often hard to follow.
She must have been Irish or Italian, because she had the memory condition that erases everything but the grudges and vendettas.
RIP, EE! God luv ya!!!
This story stinks of BS to me.
None of us here on FR agreed with Elizabeth politically, but this posthumous sliming is a bit much.
John Edwards is the scoundrel, not his late wife!
ok, i can understand wanting to get even with John, and Rielle...but Quinn had no choice to be born...
I don’t think it is cruel. I think it is a MONUMENT to this woman’s GREATNESS! She took justice into her own hands. What a brilliant woman,
Elizabeth Edwards earned what she got, I mean in her life not the way she died. Remember her cruel comments about Cheney’s daughter during the 2004 campaign?
She was far from the saint the liberal media tries to portray her as.
I suspect his cheating was John’s way of getting back at her for the years of mental abuse she inflicted on him with her personality. Seen it a thousand times before.
Of course, he always was a scumbag too. They were a perfect match.
Typical Liberals, all for compassion and giving money away to the poor in public and selfish heels in private.
DITTO!
In the old days they used to just utter a deathbed curse. Then everyone would wait on the condemned’s fate and the completion of the moral lesson. Ah well, another fine tradition lost to the ages.
This doesn’t add up. Most of those will requirements would likely be void as against public policy.
Sounds like a first class bit@h. No wonder he found a nicer woman. Prob no nicer before, not a bit.
True, I also recall how she judged her neighbor then harassed the guy after she learned he was a conservative. Then she disparaged him to the media. Yeah, EE was a wicked bitch.
Did you know her?
Seems the wealth was more from her side of the family than John’s. She did what I think anyone would do under a similar set of circumstances. She protected her children’s inheritance from her ambulance-chasing lawyer ex. I’d call her smart.
Lucky for the kids that the dims’ plan to take the entire estate of the rich away from the family hasn’t jelled just yet.
I agree. The way my lawyer explained it, the surviving parent gets automatic custody, unless proven unfit.
I don’t believe most of this is even plausible.
This “lovely woman” knew what a rat she was attempting to foist off on the USA as a viable President as she served as his “don’t attack the poor dying woman with cancer” attack dog.
I have no sympathy for her.
