Wow...I’m a Tea Party guy through and through. If we ever get to the point where solid conservatives like Allen aren’t pure enough, though, we may really be having our own Reign of Terror.

I think Allen is a great candidate.
From my point of view, it’s not that George Allen isn’t pure enough, it’s because he doesn’t appear to be capable of running an effective campaign.
He was completely taken out of his last race by that ridiculous “maccaca” incident, something that never should have been allowed to happen in the first place, and something that should have bee instantly diffused by a capable campaign staff and a capable candidate. I’m afraid that Mr. Allen was found lacking in both area’s.
IMHO, Allen, if elected, would be another GOP establishment type completely ready to go along with anything a McConnell like leader would ask him to do.
There are some state level guys in Prince William County who are doing yeoman’s work for the conservative cause that I am much more enthusiastic about. Check out illegal immigration in that county to start with.
