Democratic Gov. Neil Abercrombie wants to find a way to release more information about President Obama's Hawaii birth and dispel conspiracy theories that he was born elsewhere.
Abercrombie was a friend of Obama's parents and knew him as a child, and is deeply troubled by the effort to cast doubt on the president's citizenship.
The newly elected governor will ask the state attorney general's office about what can be done to put an end to questions about Obama's birth documentation from Aug. 4, 1961, spokeswoman Donalyn Dela Cruz said Tuesday.
"He had a friendship with Mr. Obama's parents, and so there is a personal issue at hand," Dela Cruz said. "Is it going to be done immediately? No, the first thing on our list is the economy."
It's unclear what Abercrombie could do because Hawaii's privacy laws have long barred the release of a certified birth certificate to anyone who doesn't have a tangible interest.

But then, what’s the big deal about revealing his proper birth certificate?
Personally I think its all misdirection and an attempt to create divides among conservatives.

I want to see his college and university transcripts.
Just run over to the beach or golf course and have Obama sign the form.

First, I’m sure Obama could let it be seen so acting like they have to figure this out is odd. Second, releasing “more information” sounds ridiculous.

Too late. If he had a real birth certificate, he wouldn’t have paid thousands of dollars in legal fees to keep it hidden.
They must have found a way to make a credible looking fake. I won’t believe anything they produce now. The only other reason they would have kept it hidden was because it had something on it that would have been a huge embarrassment.

It is enough for me to know that this poseur never did an honest day’s work in his life.
He has no business being president of the largest economy in the world, but the people have been made ignorant by the government indoctrination system, the hollywood movies, television and music, and the incredibly communistic news media.
Consequently, the communist usurper likely will be re-elected.
Our only hope is to thwart him at the local level, in the states and with the Congress.

His college transcripts don't mean anything to me. I could care less. I already know he is stupid. I don't need anymore proof. . . . . .
Regardless, we need to have a little more disclosure about the man who is running “the most transparent administration in history” if he chooses to run again. As of right now, we have no proof at all of who this guy is.

Since we are blocked from seeing the information, I can only guess. My guess is that he was born in Hawaii, but that there is something on the birth certificate that is embarrassing (lists different father perhaps). A solution that would preserve family privacy would be for Obama to allow the complete birth records to be viewed by a reputable neutral party (for example Supreme Court Justice Kennedy). If he says that the record shows Obama to meet the Constitutional requirement, that should put the matter to rest.
