The time around New Year’s is popular for format changes. For example up in Burlington VT/Plattsburgh NY, apparently there are too many rock stations splitting up the audience so
rocker Champ 101.3 will become ESPN 101.3 with mostly national, some local sports, and 3 AM stations in NW Vermont
which had been ESPN will switch to Fox Sports Radio.

There will be more than a few format changes across the nation and this article highlights two that feature conservative talk. Some national talk hosts like
Fred Thompson (and Boston’s sports talker Eddie Andleman)
are hanging up the headphones while some new hosts are winding up on your dial; I think Tom Tancredo has a show in Colorado which, who knows, could go national

Good to hear!

I don’t do a lot of traveling, but I’ve noticed on those trips that I do make that there are a surprising number of fairly major cities that have no conservative talk radio programming or the Fox News Channel on motel televisions.

Of course, CNN is always represented...
