I had it right

I have the source in one of my Old West firearm graphic books

Year 1899 in NYC Vs 1865-1900
- 35 years

The “frontier” in the 19th century was actually from the Eastern mountains Westward

- Firearms were plentiful but an armed citizenry makes for a polite citizenry

- But Stanley Crotch watches too much TV and movies and needs to quit eating all those cheeseburgers and fries with Meechelle

I admit I am not at all familiar with Stanley Crouch and would have to do a Google on him, lol.

That's true but the children were more disciplined I guess. They knew how to shoot when needed and left it alone otherwise.
