That is a ridiculous statement.

The insanity are the number of UC employees making more than $200,000 a year. There is absolutely no reason at all for a public institution to pay those kinds of salary, other than it's just not their money, so who cares - hey, let's give everyone raises and raise tuition again.

Public employment should never be considered anything other than public service. You want a real job, go get one.

Already they have the highest benefits in any measure, if they want retirement benefits, they can start paying for it now. Each of these bloodsuckers will pull at a minimum $184k a year - that's what they're whining about, that they'll ONLY get that much, even though their salaries are sooo much higher, they should get more.

They can stop promising my money to feed their greed.

Outrageous. I don’t see why we should pay pensions more than a mere $178K a year.

Take a look at UC Salaries ( and this is not the latest data). What we pay these Marxists to subvert our kids is an outrage. I am a UC Berkeley Alumnus, but I seldom speak of it because I loathe the place! And when I went there, most of these asshats didn’t teach, because they were too busy contemplating their navels and publishing drivel on the grant money they pulled down. A technical education there was taught by Teaching Assistants from India. No wonder they have to raise tuition.

Pay close attention. There is another story buried in these stories, and there is a good reason we'll be seeing this topic in play over the next few weeks.
