so we’ll just ignore existing laws like the feds do, the idea is to make the state inhospitable to illegal aliens so they go elsewhere. If they think AZ won’t grant their spawn citizenship then maybe they’ll go whelp them in CA. Win for AZ loss for CA, but CA seems to want them.

Aren't you ignoring existing laws when you choose to write new ones instead.

We all want the same thing, illegals out of the U.S. The question is how you do it. Passing laws with an almost zero chance of standing up in court is not an effective way of doing it. SB 1070 was a much better effort than passing a state law attempting to define national citizenship. It would be a better use of time to find work arounds for the court failures on 1070 to improve its effectiveness. If Arizona wants to go to court it should start suing for the cost of housing illegals while waiting for the feds to deport them.
