My belief is he will regress to his adolescent framing of the world. His cultural identification is not American. Its Indonesian muslim and within that political indoctrination, it calls for a caliphate. Along the way in his development he was steeped in cold war politics by his father thus the Marxist leanings, so we will see both exhibited.
The most powerful man in the world will strive for those goals, but, In his mind, Islam will dominate.
