Some of my distant descendants put a stop to that at Lepanto in 1571 AD. They were assisted by gun barrels from the Beretta gun company founded in 1526 AD. Beretta sold the barrels to the Venetians. Islam is still doing what they do in Africa and now western Europe, America, Canada, NZ and Australia.
