As if I were looking for “bolts out of the blue.” I’m not looking at all. Not taking sides. Not picking any candidates that haven’t thrown their hats in the ring yet. Not weighing their compendium of positions on issues not yet stated until the heat of campaigning begins.
I just don’t care for the cultish behavior of some Freepers with regard to their pet politicians. But that’s been going on for 10+ years.
I’ve thought the same, Buford. I, personally, am nowhere near deciding who my candidate is. “Cultish” is a good word.
If being enthused for a politician that is moral, truthful, and smart is being cultist, then tell me where the Sarah-Cult is meeting around my city, and I'll be there.
So having a preference for someone now becomes "cultish"? Give me a break. Because someone expresses their preference now means they are all going to move into some sort of Koresh retreat or drink the poison kool aid? Quit borrowing from lefty tactics of demeaning or demonizing folks who happen to like a particular candidate. Makes you sound like some kind of elitist.
