Katie is an idiot. Cosby is a genuinely humorous and entertaining person. I’ve always enjoyed his shows and films.
Try finding anyone in the jihadi world who is like that. The jihadi world loves watching videos of Jews having their necks sliced while jihadis chant religious ditties in the background.

Yeah, instead of their designer clothes and extravagent lifestyle they can all be escorted by male member of the family wherever they go, not allowed to drive or go to college, and beheaded if they talk to boys, all while wearing burkas!!

An Islamic version of The Cosby Show would be on Perky Katie's intellectual level. But maybe what we actually need is for more Americans to learn some actual, Un-PC history of Islam, starting with Mohammed.

Funny it ain't, unless one is schooled in the particular heavy handed politically correct wit, of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. One segment was very, very daring (choke). A purported young male "muslim" went into a tirade as per "rage boy". In a ridiculous fake middle-eastern voicem he ranted on. Rough quote: We Muslims will take you over. We will rule. A stream of invective. Then someone starts laughing and the "fanatic" is made to look a harmless fool.
Meanwhile reports are that dozens of "Toronto Muslim Canadians" are with the Taliban over seas. One "child soldier" called Khadr is still in Guantanamo Bay. He killed a US soldier with a grenade and blinded another soldier on one eye. The American medics saved him, because he was hit in return. His father was killed by anti-terrorist forces also. His female relative in Toronto still spitting fire - against us. Serious plots, though aborted were to bomb the Toronto subway. A separate plot was to attack the prime minister in Ottawa. Not fooling because even the mild Canadian judiciary has sent a number down for serious time.
Getting on to the subject a hand, the Perkster would not spend any time flaunting her pristine charms in a Muslim dominated society.
I.E.: Comedy plot: The oldest daughter doesn't want to wear the hijab to school.
Bill: "Habib... you know you must cover yourself at all times. But if you must, I hear the madrass down the street may have an opening. BTW, old uncle Mahmood from Pakistan needs another young bride so you might want to reconsider going to school anyway."
Habib: "Ah Dad, you're sooo lame. I'm going up to my room and catch some Justin Bieber."
Wife #1 enters living room: "Oh master, I think it is time for Habib to see Dr. Imama and get the premarital enhancement... don't you think? I'll make the appointment tomorrow."
Bill: "Good idea. Maybe we should check with my other wives for approval."
Wife #1: "Yes, master. BTW, where are Fatima and Aisha?"
Bill: "I sent them to pick up some dates and figs and some proper stones for the weekend stoning at Halal-Mart."
Wife #1: "Oh husband... you think of everything. PBUY."

The only deep-seated hatred is from the jihadis against normal people.
What would this show be about? Jihadis treating Jewish children in jihadi hospitals, free? Jihadis bringing food to elderly Christians? Jihadis letting Christian congregations use their places for religious worship? Hanging homosexuals in Iran? Stoning women for talking to a man? What would be funny about it? This bunch has no sense of humor at all.
No TV program is going to change attitudes. The only thing that will change attitudes is when the jihadis stop flying planes into buildings, putting bombs in cars, blowing up trains and buses and yelling and screaming about how nobody likes them.
Katie how about walking around Mecca and see what happens to you. Oh without a Burka.

This is a horrible idea.
Imagine a show that would appeal to middle-class Americans...
Then imagine the threats from the true believers that the writers/producers/actors had blasphemed Islam and Allah...
Cosby worked because he was willing to make a show where they were black, but "acted white."
I'm not sure how one could make a Muslim comedy that wouldn't highlight the worst abuses.
