Obama Predictions-Only Three Short Years

Prior to Obama taking office in 2009, many of this blog's readers (myself included) predicted that despite the overwhelming popularity of our new President, Obama was destined to leave office with approval numbers that closely resemble those of G.W. Bush's.

While Obama's numbers are clearly on the decline, his numbers could benefit from a good retail season this Christmas, positive news about the Gulf clean-up, and a victory in overturning Arizona's immigration law (which, most certainly appears to be the case). But, could something else interfere with his re-election aspirations prior to 2012?

Just when it looks as if Obama's approval ratings are on the rise in early 2011, he could fall from the public's good graces around June 2011, as scandal rocks the White House!

I have always seen President Obama serving out only three of the four years of his first term (you may recall the cover for my August 2010 issue with the headline "Three Short Years"), but have been hesitant to say that it was because of an assassination attempt. Instead, based on what I 'see,' which is many cameras and angry crowds around Obama beginning in June 2011, I would venture to say that Obama could encounter a major scandal, and that his fellow Dems will 'throw him to the wolves,' or so to speak.

So, in a sense, Obama could be politically 'assassinated' in 2011. The severe stress of such an event could also cause Obama to suffer a heart attack.

Obama will not give his fourth State of the Union address.

By June of 2011, in addition to flailing public approval, Obama has much blood on his hands from many different sources, including violent Mexican cartel activity in the Southwestern states, and also more violence in Afghanistan and Pakistan. For once, Americans will attribute this violence and bloodshed to the President, as so they should.

Obama's approval ratings will fall through the floor by August of 2011.

As bad as Bush's approval 'index' was when he left office, President Obama's could plunge below his by an additional 5 points. By the end of 2011, the public will have lost all faith in this man--so low that it is possible that he would serve out his remaining years living overseas.

What about Michelle?

In an earlier article that I wrote and published in the print version of 'The Star Prophet,' I predicted that Michelle Obama's politics have been diverging from the President's, and that it is highly likely that once the Obama's leave the White House, she would also leave her husband behind, but perhaps not 'officially' until 2015.

And, the economy?

I've always seen the economy really starting to spring back in late 2011, which makes sense if there's a dramatic 'overthrow' of our current government which is anti-business and pro-tax and spend--all the wrong ingredients upon which a solid free market will flourish. (Note: See my predictions on 2012 for additional predics).

Joe Biden, 'The Great Uniter?'

With Obama out of office before the end of his third year, Vice President Joe Biden will assume the office of the President. Surprisingly, Biden turns out to be a very good president during his one short year, and will find a way to pull the Democrats back towards the middle of the road (although many will come kicking and screaming), and bridge the gap between the two parties. Nonetheless, it's not likely that Biden would gain his party's nomination in 2012.

Returning to the 'Middle of the Road'

America definitely went off the deep end during the last election with their belief that someone would 'save us,' and of course, Barack Obama, and the near collapse of our country and economy is what we got in return. As we move towards the middle, and elect officials based on a true and accurate assessment of their ability and motives, let us hope and pray that the lingering far left won't re-emerge at some point down the road with a vengeance strong enough to snuff America out for good.

I don’t think he will be the candidate in 2012...he’ll move onto the world stage where he can continue his agenda - probably leaving us with Hillary.

Sorry, don't see it happening. I honestly can't see a scandal of such proportions that his media and the party would willingly push him out of office.

Were Clinton a Republican his scandals would have driven him out. Obama could have sex in public with a 17 year old boy and they wouldn't chuck him out.

Note that the post is from last summer, in July, not that it changes anything.

An old joke making the rounds in military circles during the clinton years..”Only two types of scandals will end political careers..those involving a dead girl..or a live boy”.

I think Hillary is “old news”. There is too much Clinton-fatigue i this nation; even among Democrats.

I said all during Clinton’s Presidency:

The Dems will renominate him and America re-elect him even if they have pictures of him in bed with a dead girl or a live boy.

That’s actually how that old political adage goes.

Well, 17 is legal age is some states. But, if Clinton survived his scandals, Obama can survive anything. He's got the "Race Card" that he can always pull.

Their prediction powers seem weak

I tend to take these prophesiers and seers as altogether crockery but at least this fellow’s dreams sound rather more pleasant than most. I even went on to read some of his other prognistications. Again, pleasant reading.

Only two types of scandals will end political careers..those involving a dead girl..or a live boy”.Governor Edwards of Louisiana said he could be thrown out of office only if caught in bed with one of those. He is in prison right now. I don't think he was caught with either of those things. In some ways he was discreet.

These days, those would be touted as “qualifications” for a Dem candidate.

That might explain why she’s “most admired women” these days. http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/12/27/obama-hillary-clinton-top-most-admired-lists-in-annual-gallup/

I don’t trust the American electorate...it’s deluded.

P.S. If Obama resigns in 2011 after placing her in VP slot, she’ll take over & also have incumbency in her favor.

I don’t see Obama making it though 4 years, either. Iran will be ready with their cheap&dirty gun-assembly uranium bombs way before then, with plenty of targets to launch them toward, and plenty of launchpads in Venezuela and Cuba.

At least since before 1992. It proves “diversity” but I think liberals have problems with the prefixes and confuse Di with Per.

Yeah, much of this seems like a crock...

But let’s take the long view.

Obama has done a masterful job of taking over large sections of the economy, creating large numbers of overlapping bureaucracies, and acquiring vast new powers for the federal government. Let’s say next year he does collapse politically and leaves us with someone else... anyone else... a leftwing Gerald Ford to “reunite” the country. In any case, Obama has done his job. He’s reformed the political and economic structure of the country. Give the changes another few years to congeal, and they’ll be as entrenched as many of the programs of the New Deal and the Great Society. Let the conservatives take power for a while, which won’t matter, since the bureaucracies will remain, and most of the laws will remain on the books, and, most importantly, precedent has been established allowing the president to appoint a “shadow government” of czars without Congressional approval, lawmaking in the guise of regulations, and a president willing to use executive orders to “get the job done.”

The table has been set for the real leftist tyrant somewhere down the road - someone who comes into office with the apparent charm and charisma Obama fooled folks with at first, along with real intelligence and ideological zeal. Maybe that will be 30 years from now. It doesn’t matter. The grandchildren of the Frankfurt School and Gramscii are in this for the long game, and they are patient, and they can wait. Obama has done his part. This is a play in which we are only experiencing one act.

And I really, really hope I am wrong. God help us.
