There are going to be a flood of lawsuits that will sue the city of New York over this.
Many stories of meedless deaths, fatalities, disabilities etc.
I was born and raised in New York but I no longer live there. This is the lowest point in the entire history of that once great city. It has sunk into the abyss. I bet New Yorkers would now like to see the re-emergence of Guiliani who would kick ass to get things done in any crisis.
Crawling in bed with unions is coming back to hurt NYC politicians real bad.
Coddling unions is about like feeding a pack of vicious dogs. Both will bite the hand that feeds them.
I agree, but that only compounds the problem - they should not be suing the city (which means the taxpayers will have to pay out any settlements). SUE THE UNION and SUE INDIVIDUALS RESPOSIBLE.
But - they won't. The unions are too protected, more so than any other criminal (and they are criminal) enterprise on the planet.
They also won't sue individuals responsible. I remember what a trial lawyer told me decades ago: "You sue those with the deep pockets.....always."
That means "the city", and that means "you and me and every other taxpayer."
