Lawmaker Plans Controversial Hearings on Islamic Threat
Muslim Groups Fear ‘Show Trial’ from Former Backer of the IRA

New York Rep. Peter King has long railed against a “wall of political correctness” blocking out his warnings about the mass threat he sees coming from the mosques of America. Now, as incoming chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, the Long Island Republican is poised to do something about this.

King, who has vowed to make hearings on this perceived threat his first order of business as chairman, promises to “do all I can [to] drive the public debate on Islamic radicalization.”

**SNIP**

King summed up his own views about Muslim attitudes in an interview with the Washington publication Politico, also in 2007. “Unfortunately, we have too many mosques in this country,” he said. “There’s too many people who are sympathetic to radical Islam. We should be looking at them more carefully. We should be finding out how we can infiltrate. We should be more aggressive with law enforcement.”

Today, King can point to a recent spate of homegrown episodes involving Muslims as evidence that the threat from abroad is emerging at home. These include:

Its about time. Unfortunately, the legacy media & the Jon Stewart set will go to town with this.

The republicans had better, for ONCE, be prepared to fight the coming PR war.

But since President Clinton’s brokering — with King’s assistance — of the so-called Good Friday Agreement in 1998, ending the conflict in Northern Ireland,

A surprisingly well balanced piece for the Forward.

Pretty soon they'll come up with a more 'PC' oriented term, like...

"RELIGIOUS TERRORISTS"... or

"FAITH-BASED TERRORISTS"

...or

"GOD-FEARING TERRORISTS"...or...

Seems King did GOOD, I guess the Lefties would prefer the Catholics in NR be under Martial Law. They really don’t want this fight do they?
.............................

In the end, the Ulster Unionist, SDLP and Sinn Fein leadership welcomed the agreement. But the DUP leader Ian Paisley called it “more treacherous” than the Sunningdale Agreement where the UK government established the first powersharing executive two decades earlier. Several Unionist MPs also defected from the party to oppose the Agreement.

The final Agreement was posted to every household in Northern Ireland and put to a referendum on May 22. A referendum was also held in the Irish Republic.

The result was overwhelmingly in favour of the Agreement: 71.2% of people in Northern Ireland and 94.39% in the Republic voted Yes to accepting the Agreement.

I'm all for this, but if Mr. King has so much as an unpaid library fine anywhere in his past, out it will come, and the SRM will go to town with it like you won't believe. Charlie Rangle squared, cubed.

Not only library fines. Medical records, medical records of his family members. Any law enforcement involvement with any member of his family, including grandchildren. Any credit problems, anywhere on his family tree. Divorces, custody matters. Every scrap of it will come out, and the SRM will go completely wild with it.

Thank you, Rep. King. The proliferation of Mosques in a country largely Christian when Islamic countries court us as infidels and refuse to let us establish our houses of worship on their soil, represents tactics Hitler used. He started preaching his hatred on street corners until his followers had grown sufficiently enough in numbers. When we can build Churches, Synagogues, Temples in their countries it’ll be time to sit down and dialog. They can put their 12th Imam Caliphate where the Son doesn’t shine.

I’m glad he’s doing this. And yes, I agree, he’s going to get a lot of hostile attention from the government - the US government - for doing it.

Back before 9/11 I had an islamic co-worker who used to go to mosque on Fridays during lunch. I´d always wondered what that experience was like so I´d ask if I might go with him sometime. But I finally gave up on that effort after he made myriad excuses why this or that week was not a good one to go.

Now I know why.

There is a new book out on the dangers of Islam and the West’s unawareness of it. Written by an American living in Israel. Title of the book: ‘The Muslim Tsunami’. Don’t know the author’s name.

Nah, the MSM is very incompetent — they still don’t know who Obama is and neither does Congress.

Remember when the New York Times tried to "penetrate the veil of confidentiality" surrounding adoption records pertaining to Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts?
