I don't know if he devoted an entire hour to this topic...

I thought INCEPTION was all right, although confusing at times.

Medved did like THE KING'S SPEECH very much...

Most new movies these days really suck and are not worth the money or effort to go and see them.

Only on rare occasions will I spend the money or make an effort to go and see a movie and then it is only because of what I like to call the “curiosity” factor.

Inception is thought-provoking. I probably spent an hour or two after the movie just going over the script and where it took you. I admit, it lays out a very confusing path at times, but the last ten minutes make the movie worth watching.

I’m just home from a friend’s NewYear party and his wife selected INCEPTION for this evening’s viewing.

Wholly Crap!!

It’s difficult to take Medved seriously when he ignores his own rating system. His is a 1 to 5 but he never rates below 2 or above 3. I wonder if everything tastes like cardboard to him!

I was a little surprised at Michael’s review of the movie that was a semi-fictional account of the Valerie Plame fiasco. (Darn, I forget the title! I think Sean Penn was in it...) Michael didn’t trash the movie, as I thought he would, but instead kind of damned it with faint praise. Anyway, that thing sure came and went awfully fast. I doubt it will even do much on the DVD market.

The vast bulk of movies are middle-of-the-road 2s and 3s. Only complete bombs are 1s, and great movies (which are, unfortunately, few and far between) are 4s. Only the rare, true masterpiece gets a 5.

The King’s Speech was the best movie I’ve seen in a long time. Fabulous acting, very interesting story, great cinematography.

That’s just messed up. I saw it sober and it was a mind eff then. At a new years party ?? Too weird.

The only way I can watch such movies is at home on DVD and with the movie spoiler opened up to explain it all to me

Interesting that the first three of his ten best list are all animated flicks. Not that I disagree; on average, animated movies are better quality than live action films. I'm a little surprised at his ten worst list. Robin Hood and Owls of Ga'Hoole may not be great cinema but there's no way either of them is bad enough to make anybody's worst of the year list.

Just watched Secretariat tonight and .. I was impressed!
No sex scenes .. At ALL!

That right there made it an Excellent movie!

It’s not often that you can sit down with the whole family and enjoy a movie that doesn’t include: murder, homosexuality, raw sex or foul language!

Sure, liberties .. as far as the ‘facts’ are concerned were taken but all in all .. A Great Movie!

I'm deeply saddened that he didn't put our film, "Rockin' the Wall," in the top 10.

When Medved gave Borat a 3.5 out of 4, I quit paying attention to his reviews. I do think the “cultural crusader” got a lot of flack for that review.

Before that, we used to use his reviews to choose movies, but not anymore.

I thought Inception was awesome. Caught some additional stuff upon a second viewing (well, also after my darling wife explained it all to me).

After watching Inception I kept asking my friend to give me 2+ hours of my life back.

Didn’t like it at all.

I thought that The Wolfman was pretty cool-—good period horror flick with a creepy atmosphere, intensified by Danny Elfman’s score.

Having gone to the movies last night, I'd add "The Little Fokkers" to the worst list!

I have little patience with talented actors and actresses having their strings yanked around by adolescent minded writers and producers.

I thought “Inception” stank.

I'm sure Robert DeNiro thought it was crap too but he acted in it because..... For the millions he got it is as simple as that. Plus the more millions he makes the more other actors envy and look up to him

Ben Stiller ...same reason. He can buy a larger Malibu mansion or indulge other absurd appetites
