I’ve got several large boxes full of the wattages that I need. Started buying them a couple of years ago. Hopefully these bulbs will out live me. lol

It was established on a similar thread that incandescent bulbs have essentially unlimited storage life if kept in a dry location to prevent corrosion of the base. So if you’ve got the room for storage, you’re good to go.

Isn't it a shame that we Americans' choices of goods that we purchase are so rapidly constricting?

You can get incandescent light bulbs rated for 25,000 hours that are used by the hospitality industry. If you use them for an average of 7 hours a day they’ll burn out in just a little under 10 years and cost about a buck or less per bulb depending on how many you buy.

Once you stock up all you’ll have to do is watch out for the light bulb police who’ll be monitoring everyone who might be using those unauthorized, evil incandescents!

I’ve been buying up 100 watt bulbs for a few years now because of this nonsense.

"I am going to hoard lightbulbs this year. Clearing our the spare bedroom." I bought a lifetime supply last year when I thought they would force us all to use the mercury laden bulbs. So... I've got mine.
