Well, America pretty much “ignored” buggering school teachers during the same time. There are about 12,000 school districts in the United States, and the way that they handled queer folks of all persuasions was to let them go away. In August, when school districts have a pressing need to fill slots, they pretty much take anyone. Out of sight, out of mind. Plus birds of a feather, flock together. They have friends who are willing to help them get a job. There were always safe havens. Until the Priest scandal, districts were even subscribing to the notion that “children at risk” needed”mentors”.Pederasty was being updated from the old Greek days. Now, ironically, despite the power of the gay lobby, they have had to put that agenda aside —for the moment.

Just because the Church is infallible, that doe s not mean we are smart. God’s way leads to health and happiness. We are like three-year olds who wonder what it is like to play in heavy traffic. The infallibility means that we have a safety-line. He yanks us out of the way just as we are about to be destroyed. Then about ten minutes later, we get in trouble again. Too often we prefer to play with the devil rather than the angels.

One wonders if at some point He will loose patience and let the child get run over.

Try reading Hosea—a perfect example of letting the the kids play in traffic and losing patience. Fortunately, our God is a forgiving God that loves his CHILDREN.
